To do this, they plan to travel by bicycle around 1,400 kilometers that separate the town of Balcón de Europa, from where they will leave next September 6, from the Plaza del Obradoiro, in Santiago de Compostela, where they intend to arrive in 13 days, With an average of 120 kilometers per day. Both are already true experts in carrying out several of the routes that lead to the famous Galician cathedral, following some of the most famous roads.

His father and a 29-year-old nephew died from cancer and a sister is currently in treatment, circumstances that have also led him to propose this test.

Thus, through the AECC volunteers they will sell kilometers for one euro to all people who want to collaborate with them. "We know that the town of Nerja is very supportive, so we are sure that we will spend more than 1,400 kilometers," said the two athletes. At the moment, in just one month they have managed to add more than 15,000 euros. "We are overwhelmed by people's response," they confess.

Cortés and Bueno are looking for sponsoring establishments, as well as people who want to collaborate with their advertising in the jersey of the kit that they will carry on their solidarity adventure. "We will bear all the expenses, so we want to make it clear that all the collection of the sale of kilometers, as well as the publicity we carry, will be entirely for the AECC," they conclude.
