A detainee for insulting, threatening to kill and challenging the Torrox Local Police by refusing to return to his home

Second arrest in the province for violating the confinement rules of the state of alarm decreed by the central government since last Sunday. A 42-year-old Torrox neighbor, with DLP initials and a native of Jaén, was arrested on Tuesday afternoon by the Local Police after allegedly insulting, threatening to kill, and challenging the agents that he was not going to return to his home, despite the fact that he was not making any of the assumptions allowed by current regulations, as reported by SUR police sources.

The events took place at around 6:00 p.m. on the central García Peñalver Avenue, in the coastal area of ??the municipality of Axarquía. The patrols have received several neighborhood calls due to the presence of a man who was supposedly calling out, disturbing public order for the second time in just 12 hours, after having done so earlier last night. Apparently, after a first patrol of the Local Police of Torrox appeared, the first words of the individual would have been insults, challenging the agents who invited him to leave the street to comply with the confinement.

The police reinforcement device proposed by the City Council to have two and three patrols some days has allowed a second unit to collaborate in the arrest. Not surprisingly, being a corpulent person, he has offered great resistance to his arrest, being finally reduced, shackled and is already in the jails of the Local Police, to pass at the disposal of the judicial authority in the next few hours. In addition to the corresponding criminal sanction for failing to comply with the state of alarm, he will face two administrative fines that could reach 3,000 euros, according to the sources consulted.
