It could have ended in a new children's tragedy in the water, but fortunately it has been only in a terrible shock, thanks to the quick action of the lifeguard of the pool and an off-duty policeman who was in the room. A three-year-old boy was rescued when he drowned in the afternoon of Wednesday in a private pool located in the area of ??El Tomillar, specifically on Avenida del Sol, in the urbanization Los Geraneos.

The emergency service has received a call informing that a small three-year-old was unconscious in a pool and did not respond to the stimuli. Immediately ordered a patrol of agents of the Local Police, the lifeguard of the pool had made the first cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and an off-duty policeman was carrying him in his arms running to the Regional Hospital of La Axarquía, which was located in the vicinity of the place of events.

As this newspaper has confirmed, the local police patrol has found them on the avenue, immediately transferring them to the emergency room of the health center. Apparently, the child has reacted well to the cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers, and is in good health, out of danger, with his family.
