The Councilor for Sports, Daniel Rivas, presented this morning the 32nd edition of the Pedal Day of Nerja, which will be held next Friday, February 28, with departure and arrival at the Balcony of Europe. The tour will take a four-kilometer journey through Cavana Square, Diputación, Castilla Pérez, Avenida del Mediterráneo, Chaparil, Almería, Antonio Ferrandiz, San Miguel, Alejandro Bueno, Herrera Oria, Ruperto Anduez, Torrox Rodríguez Acosta, Huertos, Arropiero and Painted, until arriving again at the Balcony of Europe.
Rivas has stressed that it is one of the most important events in the province, with more than two thousand participants, remembering that it is a walk, not a race. He thanked the work done by the two organizers, Miguel Doña and Antonio Ruiz, and indicated that the participation of last year is expected. As in previous editions there will be special prizes for the older cyclist and my original bicycles. There will also be t-shirts, soft drinks and raffle gifts, such as bicycles and trips, for participants.
Registration can be done at the Sports office, from 10 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon, until Wednesday, February 26, or on the same day 28, from half past nine in the morning, at the Balcony of Europe.
