The Department of Culture of the City Council of Rincón de la Victoria has presented this Friday the programming of the musical shows of the Zarzuela Festival by the company Teatro Lírico Andaluz, which this year will represent the works' El Hurtado del Sevillano 'and' La of the Bunch of Roses', as reported by the mayor of the area, Clara Perles (C's).
The CEIP Manuel Laza Palacio, will host the staging of these works with a great display of technical resources and human team made up of fifty people including performers, orchestra, choir, production, costumes and lighting, and with the presence of artists from National and international popularity as the actor, Miguel Guardiola, the musical director, José Manuel Padilla, and the artists Gema Scabal, Luis Pacetti, Andrés del Pino and Estela Vicente, in addition to the elect of the Malaga theater company.
The Councilor for Culture has highlighted "the artistic and musical quality of both shows in a consolidated musical Festival that has been run by the Teatro Lírico Andaluz company for almost twenty years." This edition, says the mayor, "we celebrate the festival in a special way, according to security measures and social distancing in the face of the COVID-19 situation."
For his part, the manager of the Teatro Lírico Andaluz company, Pablo Prados, has thanked the City of Rincón de la Victoria and said ?this is the most important event on our calendar due to the great reception and affection that we show in Rincón de la Victoria ?. "We have a loyal audience and lover of the zarzuela genre who even travel from other provinces to enjoy this festival."
The shows 'The Guest of Seville' and 'The Bunch of Roses' stand out for being two renowned stage productions of the classic repertoire of Spanish lyrical theater, characterized by their fun, comedy and extraordinary music that are directed by two of the great masters of the composition in zarzuela, Pablo Sorozábal and Jacinto Guerrero. The approximate duration per show is approximately an hour and a half.
Both musical shows will start at 10pm.
