Rincon de la Victoria celebrates the VI Paellas Charity Contest in favor of programs to help women suffering from Breast Cancer launched by the Women's Association of Rincon de la Victoria (AMUAXA), the Association of Operated Women of Breast Cancer (ASAMMA), and the Malaga Foundation for Assistance to Cancer Patients (FMAEC), as the Councilor for Social Welfare and second deputy mayor, Elena Aguilar (Cs).
The initiative is celebrated on the occasion of World Breast Cancer Day, on October 19, and aims to ?raise funds to continue psychological support programs for patients and families and physiotherapy treatments for women operated on for cancer mama, "says the mayor, who has advanced that" as a novelty this year, we have extended the schedule of performances in the afternoon that now runs until 7:00 pm. " The event will feature the participation of up to twenty teams (composed of 2 to 5 people per group) among participating groups and groups.
Aguilar has shown his commitment to the cause and the fight with breast cancer, "supporting all those initiatives that are organized in favor of the people affected." Likewise, the mayor highlighted "the important work of the associative fabric involved in the prevention, detention and awareness of the disease" and has launched an invitation to citizens to collaborate in this family and solidarity event. The day will begin at 12:00 in the Plaza Al Andalus with different activities and performances by dance schools, music groups and groups of the municipality, such as the Zumba masterclass from Cheer Up to Dance or the Star Castanets Group Diaz
At 14.00, the tasting of paella dishes with a price of three euros is planned, and is expected to distribute between 80 and 100 kilos of rice. In addition, a solidarity bar with drinks and snacks at popular prices will also be installed. In the afternoon, the musical performances of Captain Vinilo and DJ Toulalan will take place until 7:00 p.m. As in each edition, a manifesto will be read and a pink tide will take place where participants are encouraged to wear pink shirts and dance to the rhythm of a choreography with the song `Mother Earth 'by Chayanne.
