Rincón de la Victoria will be present at the Greencities networking, Urban Intelligence and Sustainability Forum, the main national meeting on smart and sustainable urban management organized by the Malaga Trade Fair and Congress Center and which will take place at the venue on the 30th September and October 1, 2020. The mayor of Rincón de la Victoria, Francisco Salado (PP), explained that it is ?an opportunity to create synergies with other municipalities, exchange experiences and learn from forums and meetings, which are the trends and tools necessary for development sustainable development of the municipality in line with the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). "The Rincón de la Victoria City Council has embarked on the path towards the municipality's economic, social and environmental sustainability, with the consequent benefit for visitors and residents", adds the councilor.
Annually the forum convenes professionals, companies, municipal technicians, researchers and representatives of public administrations and institutions linked to sustainable building and rehabilitation, energy efficiency and the development of smart cities and territories, governance, the environment, tourism or the smart mobility. The cities participating in the Greencities networking will be able, through an online dating tool, to close meetings to debate, cooperate, generate commercial agreements and propose initiatives and projects to other cities, participants and exhibitors present at the forum.
For its part, Greencities returns with the aim of offering a global vision of the main challenges for city management and mobility, with special attention to the current context and the general progress of society. For this, it already has the confirmation of more than 150 experts from different sectors who will participate in one of the four forums that make up the content program ('Green Point Forum', 'S-MOVING Forum', 'International Greencities Congress' and 'ODS Space). The celebration in parallel with S-MOVING, Smart, Autonomous and Unmanned Vehicles Forum, will make possible a more complete integration in the content program of urban mobility as a fundamental axis in the intelligent and sustainable management of cities and territories. In addition, Greencities and S-MOVING are a commercial platform that every year incorporates the broadest and most diverse catalog of solutions to cover the needs of smart territories.
