Nerja, Friday, May 17, 2019.- "Today, Friday, May 17, a round table on sexual diversity and transsexualism will be held by the Association Transhuellas to close this third cycle Pride Nerja", advances the delegated mayor of Citizen Participation, Cristina Fernández.
In this table will be present the mayor of the area, representative of the aforementioned Association, Lipe de Lima Melo, and relatives of transsexual people, who will guide and inform the attendees about aspects related to the collective and transsexuality in the current times.
This activity will be the end point of two weeks of events framed within this third edition of Pride Nerja. Cristina Fernández has made a summary recalling everything that has been done in this edition, "In these days we have had great collaboration from the Association that has participated with workshops in secondary schools in the municipality, in addition to the film series that ended yesterday Thursday with the last projection "Boys do not cry" and that has had great reception, the party of visibility, reading of manifest, the citizen proposal to decide the name that will take the park next to the IES Chaparil, among other actions. "
In this sense, the chosen name has been that of Lucía Sánchez Saornil, which will be taken to the Local Government Board next Monday to request its approval.
