The councilor for Sports, Daniel Rivas, reports that regulations have been established to prevent the deterioration of the athletics track of the Enrique López Cuenca Stadium, and to prolong its useful life. The councilor points out that "they are based on respect, collaboration and solidarity among the users of the stadium, which belongs to everyone, and that we must care for and conserve for our use and enjoyment." These rules have the approval of the Municipal Sports Council.
Among others, it is established that the nails of the shoes will not have more than 6 millimeters, that lanes 1 and 2 are reserved for medium depth, 8 and the outer zone for long taxiings, and the rest for the speed series and fences, and that the race will be carried out counterclockwise.
Informational signs have been put up with the regulations and it is mandatory to follow the instructions of the installation staff. Said personnel are authorized to request documentation, enforce the regulations, and may require an athlete or user to leave the track due to lack of respect, non-compliance with the regulations or misuse of the facility.
