The Department of Social Welfare of the City of Rincón de la Victoria, through the Local Assembly of the Red Cross of Rincón de la Victoria, will teach a First Aid course for unemployed people in the municipality. The training action is part of the Project for Professional Qualification for the long-term unemployed funded by the Social Welfare area, which will begin next Monday with an offer of ten places.
The mayor of the area and second deputy mayor, Elena Aguilar (Cs), explained that ?we continue promoting training actions for unemployed people in the municipality with the aim of having an opportunity in the labor market and start in new professional areas ». Also, Aguilar has recognized the important work done by the members of the Local Assembly of the Red Cross in the municipality.
The course consists of a total of 25 hours of face-to-face theoretical training, where students will learn basic knowledge to deal with an emergency situation such as fevers, stings, intoxications, blows and wounds, burns (thermal, chemical, electrical, abrasions), seizures, choking, basic life support (cardiopulmonary resuscitation and cardio-respiratory arrest), mobilizations and immobilizations and the first aid kit as a first-aid medical device.
Classes will be held from November 11 to 15 at the Red Cross Local Assembly, located on Calle Limoneros 6, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. To register, interested persons must present the work life report, the certificate of registration, the demand for employment and the curriculum.
On the other hand, and within the same personal requalification project, the course 'Multipurpose building cleaning and maintenance services' started in October continues. Until November 28, students are doing work outside the classroom and non-work training practices in different companies in Rincon de la Victoria.
