The Rincón de la Victoria City Council has put out to tender the project for the construction of steel works on the Benagalbón Highway for an initial investment amount of 299,902 euros, according to the councilor for the Infrastructure area, Sergio Díaz (PP). It is an action included in the Participatory Budget that aims to provide a pedestrian space, on one of the sides of the MA-3200 Highway, of just over a kilometer between the access to the Señorío de la Victoria Urbanization and the Carril de Pizarro, "completing the pedestrian connection between the centers of Rincón de la Victoria and Benagalbón," he says.
The mayor of Rincón de la Victoria, Francisco Salado (PP), has highlighted "the need to carry out this project that will provide greater security to the area that has been supporting a significant and growing pedestrian traffic by serving as a link between both towns , as it passed through numerous and scattered neighborhoods ». Furthermore, «with this action we attend to one of the proposals presented by residents and approved in the Participatory Budgets; the pedestrian connection to Benagalbón ».
The works will consist of the corresponding demolitions, and rainwater network works, public lighting, pavements and protections: and signaling. The maximum execution period will be 4 months. The actions will be carried out in a way that affects as little as possible road traffic and pedestrian traffic on the avenue. The deadline for receiving offers begins on October 16 and runs until November 4 at 3:00 p.m.
