The City of Rincon de la Victoria has reported on the award of the construction project of the new skatepark in the town that has an investment budget of 100,961.44 euros. The company that will be responsible for the work, Copesol S.L will build two areas connected to each other: an area of ??low ground bowl and an area of ??quarters and street above ground on a surface of 1,120 square meters with dimensions of 34 x 33 meters.
The councilman of the area of ??Infrastructures, Sergio Diaz (PP), has highlighted the interest of the action "that comes to improve the facilities of the old skatepark where we want to make the most of natural lighting and install artificial light points, since the use of the facilities will not be limited only to sunny hours. " In addition, Díaz has indicated that "the objective is that the works begin next August". The mayor of Rincón de la Victoria, Francisco Salado (PP), said that "with this new skatepark we serve a historical demand by young people who practice this sport in our town."
"Rincón de la Victoria is a benchmark in the celebration of sports events and competitions, therefore, these new facilities will come to enhance this sport on the rise. This complex will allow to organize and develop skate competitions at all levels, expanding the offer of outdoor sports in the municipality, "says Salado.
For his part, the mayor of the area of ??Youth and Sports, Antonio José Martín (PP), has shown his satisfaction for the implementation of this project that will soon become a reality. "These facilities will offer a meeting point for young people with whom we hope to encourage sports." The project includes a transition zone that will connect the skatepark area with the future outdoor Auditorium that will share services.
