In the morning of today, the mayor of Nerja, José Alberto Armijo, held a meeting in the Plenary Hall of the City Council with the Association of Neighbors of the Protected, represented by its president, Jose Miguel Ortuño, to establish lines of collaboration for work in coordination for Protected. They have been accompanied by the pediatric mayor, Eva García, the Councilor for Citizen Participation, Javier Rodríguez, the Councilor for Popular Traditions, Elena Gálvez, and members of the association's board of directors.
Armijo has transferred to the attendees the commitment of the municipal government to intensify, in this new stage, the dialogue and collaboration with the association to promote how many actions result in the quality of life of the neighbors of the Protected. To do this, the association has the help of the pediatric mayor of the Protected, Eva García. In addition, the Councilor for Citizen Participation, Javier Rodriguez, has valued the importance of neighborhood associations to contribute to the solution of the problems and needs of neighbors and neighbors.
For his part, Jose Miguel Ortuño, has agreed on the need for the City Council and association to work together, in an environment of collaboration and mutual assistance, in all activities carried out in the neighborhood, with the views on Christmas, where Protected has a relevant role in programming for these holidays.
