The Councilor for Infrastructure, Francisco Arce, has informed that the Local Government Board has approved two redevelopment and improvement projects in different streets of the municipality for an amount of 309,917.36 euros financed through the Financially Sustainable Investment Plan of the Diputación de Málaga .
Specifically, it is the reform of the steel and road of Avenida de la Constitución, around the Almijara I urbanization, with a tender budget of 190,082.65 euros; and the redevelopment of Solana, Sorolla and Zuloaga streets, with a budget of 119,834.71 euros.
Arce has shown his satisfaction for this approval by stating that "with these important actions, very close to each other, we will improve the environment, which for years I was in need of it." The avenue of the Constitution will be provided with new steel, pavement, lighting, and gardening. On the other hand, works on Solana, Sorolla and Zuloaga streets will include new infrastructure, sewerage, pavement, street lighting and signage.
The next administrative procedure will be the approval of the specifications of both projects, so that in the shortest possible time it is possible to proceed to the adjudication and at the beginning of the works.
