The Nerja Museum has presented a cycle that, with the name of 'Energetic', seeks the bimonthly encounter with different artistic disciplines that fall within the culture of the easternmost coastal municipality of the province. The objective of this project, organized by the Cueva de Nerja Foundation in collaboration with the City Council and the Cortos de Vista video creators collective, is to give visibility and maximum projection to these artists, in order to support and promote the creation in the municipality .
The director of the Nerja Museum, Juan Bautista Salado, the Councilor for Culture, Gema Laguna (PP), and Ricardo Bajo, of the Cortos de Vista Association participated in the presentation of the cycle. The first call will be about architecture and will take place this Thursday, February 13, at 8:00 p.m.,. The participants will be the architects Marta Lomas, Bernardo Pozuelo, Francisco Sánchez and Héctor Sequero. The historian Francisco Capilla will moderate.
These are round tables that will consist of three to four participants in a dialogue that will feature a moderator specialized in the artistic discipline in question. The protagonists will present their professional and vital experience through these participatory and relaxed talks. The artists who will participate in these meetings will be personalities of the cultural world, of the various disciplines, depending on the appointment of the cycle,. They will be selected for the quality of their work and for the transcendence in the social and cultural life of the locality.
Each meeting of the cycle will last about an hour and a half, during which, by means of conversations, questions and opinions, attendees will be able to know the creative processes of each member of the table, while a tour will be carried out along the work of the speakers and a visual sample with projections on the screen of the museum's circular room. The artistic disciplines that are going to be addressed throughout this season of the 'Energetic' cycle are: architecture, literature, painting, photography, music and cinema.
