The Councilor for Education and Culture, Gema Laguna, reports that the Study of Children's Painting has begun painting classes for boys and girls who come in different groups. This year the number of students per group has had to be reduced and an action protocol has been established for the children's health safety.
In the Children's Painting Studio, students learn to draw with charcoal and mix tempera colors on the palette. "Painting is a fundamental activity for children from an early age as it encourages creativity, mental agility, imagination, and concentration, among others, as well as serving as a vehicle to express their feelings and emotions," said the councilor .
Laguna also informs that the minimum age to register is 4 years old and that there are still some free places. To register, they must fill out the application in the same Studio, in the Market building, located in the Plaza de la Ermita, from 5 to 7 in the afternoon.
