Next Monday, May 25, Aqualia's offices will be reopened in the municipality, awarded the municipal water supply and sanitation service, to offer face-to-face attention to users with more urgent matters. In order to carry out this function and guarantee the safety of both clients and workers, all the preventive measures indicated by the health authorities must be kept, as announced by the Councilor for Infrastructure and Waters of the City Council, Juan Antonio García López.
The objective is "to prioritize the procedures that require office attention due to their complexity". In this sense, it has asked users not to carry out in the offices those issues that can be done by other means in a very simple way, such as paying bills at the ATM, direct debiting bill payments, or to make inquiries and simple procedures that can be dealt with through the Aqualia App, or through the call center ».
For his part, the head of the company in the town, Javier Portero, has explained the protection and hygiene measures that will be adopted to provide this service with the greatest security and avoiding risks. This has been mentioned, the limitation of capacity (two people in the Vélez-Malaga office and one in the Torre del Mar office); the installation of distance signs, the placement of safety screens and hydroalcoholic gels, as well as the availability of masks for those who may need them and do not have them at that time.
Office hours, according to the Aqualia representative, "will continue to be the standard, as it existed before, but with limited attention and capacity."
Goalkeeper has stated that "Aqualia will continue to collaborate in everything that is necessary so that we can recover normality as soon as possible."
