The councilor for Youth, Daniel Rivas, informs that the Service of Attention to the Movement, SAM, is started again in Nerja, to sensitize young people about the importance of compliance with preventive measures against covid-19 and risks posed by non-compliance with them, in periods of nocturnal leisure. In addition, prevention of the consumption of harmful substances, safe driving and sexuality will be reported.
This service will be carried out by the Malaga entity Civic Association for Prevention, on the weekends of August, from 11 at night to 3 in the morning. The councilor believes that "the agglomeration of people seen in local tourist and leisure places, especially among the younger population and with high non-compliance with established prevention measures, involves a risk of contagion, so it is necessary to information and awareness of this serious health problem. "
The Movida Attention Service, offered by the Malaga Provincial Council, had been provided in Nerja since 2007, directly by the City Council since 2011, but had been discontinued in recent years. Being its recovery one of the electoral commitments of the current government group, it was restored at the Fair last year and now in the area with the highest incidence of nightlife.
