The City Council and the Cave presented last night in Madrid the promotion campaign "Origins Nerja" in an event attended by more than three hundred professionals in the tourism sector. The event took place at the Royal Tapestry Factory, with a spectacular staging aimed at the five senses, with projection of images of the municipality and the cave, sound of waves, aromas of the mountains, the taste of local cuisine and the touch of fruit, grass and sand.
José Alberto Armijo, as acting president of the Cueva de Nerja Foundation and mayor of the town, intervened first, noting that ?Nerja and his cave recover, in the 40th edition of Fitur, own showcase to develop an intense promotional campaign of the hand of the private sector, with the objective of reaching its tourist consolidation ?. Then, the President of the Diputación de Málaga and Second Vice President of the Foundation, Francisco Salado, closed the event, the Delegate of Government in Andalusia, Lucrecio Fernández,
The event has been enlivened by musical performances, DJs and projections. The singer Nerjeño Antonio Cortés has also participated, along with the actor Miguel Joven and the businessman Francisco Ortega Ayo, both known for the television series Verano Azul.
The new tourist campaign of Nerja and its Cave for this year, ?Nerja Origins?, invites you to return to the main tourist destination of the eastern Costa del Sol, to enjoy its sea, its mountains, its protected places, its gastronomy and, of course , his cave. More than 90 tour operators and companies from the tourism sector have been spectators, both nationally and internationally, as well as about one hundred accredited media.
